Old fashioned bus leaves Athens and enters the countryside. The bus continues on its journey. Skiathos harbour. Small village side streets. Mikhali delivers bottles gas to old ladies. On the back of his donkey. The fathers of the young man Nico and the young woman discuss he dowry for the impending wedding. Various shots of the harbour and bay of this quiet village. The two men visit the olive grove and strike a bargain. Nico meets two fishermen friends as they tend there boat. They return to a café where a man sells raffle orr lottery tickets. They drink a toast. Old rituals in preparation for the wedding are re-enacted. A man examines his shaved face in a mirror. Gentle tale focusing on the marriage of Mikhali's daughter combined with a narrative discourse placing Mikhali BP as the fuel provider to help the native fishermen and thus the island's prosperity.
